FIRE & GRACE CHURCH
"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved,
let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire."

Hebrews 12:28-29
Fire & Grace Church does not have a separate children's church service but we do welcome children! We believe that it is imperative for children to worship God and receive the Word alongside their parents and the rest of the church. Like adults, children have spirits that need to be fed the Word of God. It is also important for children to learn to behave properly and respect the House of God. The Children of Israel and the early church did not segregate their congregations based on age, they trained up their children in the way they should go.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

We believe that although it takes patience and a training period, children benefit from being a part of the service instead of being separated from their family and entertained. We understand the need for parents to step out of service with a crying baby or noisy child to get them calmed down. Families enjoy going on vacations together, going to the movies together, sitting down to dinner together, why not learn to worship God together? My wife began training our daughter when she was very young to be a part of our worship service and she has been able to be a part of the entire service since she was about 2-1/2 years old.

Jesus wants to touch the children...

"But Jesus said, 'Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me: for such is the kingdom of heaven.' And He laid His hands on them, and departed thence." (Matthew 19:14)
